The police have confirmed that they have arrested Lagos socialite, Sam Larry, in connection with the death of 27-year-old singer and songwriter, Promise Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, announced the arrest on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Thursday night. He said Sam Larry was assisting the police with the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
